Alastar Supports Multi-Agency Operation to Promote Maritime Security and Boat Safety

U.S. Coast Guardsmen assigned to U.S Coast Guard Station Charleston leveraged Alastar to share situational awareness during a multi-jurisdiction and multi-state operation.  The Coast Guard partnered with 104 agencies to conduct searches spanning 500 miles of coastline across NC, SC, GA, and FL, with a focus on making sure safety measures were observed by boat operators. Read about the operation here, and view photos and read more here.

Alastar Supports Information Sharing and Situational Awareness

A report on Computer Aided Dispatch Interoperability included a case study on Charleston County, SC and Joint Base Charleston, which used Alastar to support information sharing and situational awareness. The Alastar software provided a common operational picture incorporating real-time inputs including 911 calls, automatic vehicle location, weather, infrastructure status, and video feeds. Read the entire report here.
