Ken Myers joined CRDF Global as its President in March 2021.  CRDF Global is an independent nonprofit organization created by Congress in 1995 in response to the collapse of the Soviet Union and the threat of proliferation of weapons technology from the region.  It is a leading provider of flexible logistical support, program design and management, and strategic capacity building programs in the areas of higher education, CBRNE security and nonproliferation, border security, cyber security, global health technology entrepreneurship, and international professional exchanges.  Prior to joining CRDF Global, Ken served for five years as the Senior Vice President for Defense and Security at PAE National Security Solutions (NSS).  With nearly 3,000 employees, NSS is a world-wide authority in performing and training military and law enforcement personnel to counter weapons of mass destruction and improvised threats.  In addition, PAE provides full spectrum counter-threat support, forensic and biometric operations, and comprehensive training to customers engaged in complex national security missions worldwide.  From 2009 until 2016, Ken was the Director of the Defense Threat Reduction Agency and STRATCOM Center for Combatting Weapons of Mass Destruction.  As a member of the Senior Executive Service, he was the   fourth and longest serving director of the agency.  He oversaw an annual $3 billion budget and operated simultaneously as a defense agency, combat support agency, and a Combatant Command component safeguarding America and its allies from weapons of mass destruction.  DTRA/SCC was charged with providing expertise, technology, and capabilities to deter, defeat, eliminate, and prevent WMD use.  Under his leadership DTRA/SCC was awarded four Joint Meritorious Unit Awards and Ken was awarded with the Secretary of Defense’s Exceptional Public Service Award.  Prior to DTRA/SCC, Ken served for six years as a Senior Professional Staff Member on the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations and eight years on the personal staff of Senator Richard Lugar.
