MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS

  • ACCESS
MSTIC provides networking opportunities with consortium members (industry and academia), Government and other strategic stakeholders, at annual membership meetings and valuable conferences and forums.

  • SPEED
MSTIC is an Other Transaction Agreement collaboration. OTAs are flexible contracting vehicles capable of multiple taskings with a single set of terms, resulting in award execution significantly faster than traditional Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)-based contracts.

  • MARKET EXPANSION
Membership creates a channel for small companies and non-traditional suppliers to identify opportunities and establish customer relationships with Government and other members.
  • REVENUE
Simplified and streamlined access to Government funding.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHO SHOULD JOIN?

Any company, university, or research organization with expertise in the technology areas specifically related to the MSTIC mission.

HOW LONG DOES THE PROCESS TAKE?

An application with all necessary documentation can be processed in as little as 1-2 business days. However, it can take up to several weeks if an applicant needs to obtain a DD2345 or update any expired certificates (SAM.gov, DD2345, DUNS, CAGE). If you have questions regarding these documents, please contact us at mstic@ati.org.

WHEN SHOULD MY COMPANY JOIN?

It is best to apply early to allow enough time for the application processes. Postponing membership until a Solicitation is active may result in unforeseen delays and the inability to submit a proposal.

HOW MUCH ARE ANNUAL DUES?

There are no annual dues to join MSTIC.

CAN AN INTERNATIONAL COMPANY PARTICIPATE?

Membership in MSTIC is limited to US companies or US-based affiliates of foreign companies. Foreign companies cannot gain membership due to MSTIC’s requirement that members obtain a DD2345 (military critical technical data agreement). However, foreign companies can be subcontractors (team members) on projects awarded through the Other Transaction Agreement (OTA) as long as they can meet the terms and conditions of the OTA. The member awarded the project is responsible for flowing the applicable requirements down to the foreign company.
